Fall is around the corner and it’s a great time to watch a movie. Here’s our list of our favorite movies coming in September.
Friday, September 6
- Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice (PG-13)
Three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River after an unexpected family tragedy. This sequel to the 1988’s Beetlejuice, we see returning actor Michael Keaton and actress Winona Ryder fill their old roles. Alongside the old, new characters are played by Jenna Ortega and Willem Dafoe.
- His Three Daughters (R)
Carrie Coon, Natasha Lyonne, and Elizabeth Olsen play three distant sisters that reunite in NYC to care for their sick father. Tensions rise as they confront past issues, aiming to heal family bonds amid laughter and tears.
- The Front Room (R)
Everything goes to hell for newly pregnant Belinda (Brandy Norwood) after her mother-in-law moves in and tries to get her claws on the child.
Friday, September 13
- Speak No Evil (R)
A dream holiday turns into a living nightmare. An American couple and their daughter spend the weekend at a British family’s idyllic country estate. Starring James McAvoy, Mackenzie Davis, and Scoot McNairy.
- The Killer’s Game (R)
Diagnosed with a terminal illness, top hit man Joe Flood (Dave Bautista) decides to take matters into his own hands and take a hit out on himself.
- Uglies (PG-13)
Joey King, Chase Stokes, and Laverne Cox find themselves in a futuristic dystopia with enforced beauty standards. A teen awaiting mandatory cosmetic surgery embarks on a journey to find her missing friend.
- My Old Ass (R)
An 18th-birthday mushroom trip brings Elliott (Maisy Stella) face-to-face with her wisecracking 39-year-old self (Aubrey Plaza). You can find our early screening review about this coming-of-age story here.

- Transformers One (PG)
The untold origin story of Optimus Prime (Chris Hemsworth) and Megatron (Brian Tyree Henry), better known as sworn enemies. Now we see them as friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of CyberTron forever.
- Wolfs (R)
Brad Pitt and George Clooney are hired for the same job, to cover up a high-profile crime. They find themselves being forced to work together in an unexpected partnership after the night loses control.
- A Different Man (R)
After undergoing a facial reconstructive surgery, Edward (Sebastion Stan) becomes fixated on an actor in a stage production based on his former life. However, his new dream face quickly turns into a nightmare as he becomes obsessed with reclaiming what was lost.
- Omni Loop (NR)
Mary-Louise Parker plays a quantum physicist who finds herself stuck in a time loop with a black hole growing in her chest and only a week to live. When she meets a gifted student, they team up to save her life and unlock the mysteries of time travel.
- The Substance (R)
Elisabeth Sparkle (Margaret Qualley), renowned for an aerobics show, faces a devastating blow on her 50th birthday as her boss fires her. Amid her distress, a laboratory offers her a substance which promises to transform her into an enhanced version of herself.

- The Wild Robot (PG)
Shipwrecked on a deserted island, a robot named Roz (Lupita Nyong’o) must learn to adapt to its new surroundings. To survive the harsh environment, Roz bonds with the island’s animals and cares for an orphaned baby goose.
- Megalopolis (R)
The city of New Rome is the main conflict between Cesar Catilina (Adam Driver), a brilliant artist in favor of a utopian future, and the greedy mayor Franklyn Cicero (Giancarlo Esposito). Between them is Julia Cicero (Nathalie Emmanuel), her loyalty divided between her father and her beloved.
- Never Let Go (R)
When an unspeakable evil takes over the world, the only protection for a mother and her twin sons is their house and strong bond. Halle Berry and her sons find themselves haunted by an evil spirit, but is this spirit even real.
Monday, September 30
- Old Guy (R)
Follows a contract killer facing the end of his career. That ends when The Company pulls him back into the field training Gen Z newcomer: Wihlborg, a prodigy assassin with an attitude.
