Rainbow Six Siege Esports Stage 1: Week 2 Recap

Week 2 of Stage 1 is done and what a performance by some teams. There was a lot of shifting in the standings throughout all regions. Next week will mark the halfway point and that’s when we’ll start to see teams falling into the places they’ll end in. All matches can be viewed on the Rainbow 6 Twitch Channel.

PSG Talon dominates once again and stays in first. Dplus seems to be keeping pace with Talon only trailing by 7 rounds. Before & After still unable to find their footing in the league. Next week we’ll get to see Dplus face off against PSG Talon in what will be the match to watch.

Playday 3- March 21

Playday 4- March 22

  • BSG vs FearX: 7-3
  • Before & After vs WEBL: 5-7
  • Dplus vs BlossoM: 7-4
  • Mir vs PSG Talon: 3-7

Major upset with Luminostiy taking down M80. DZ and Wildcard get their first wins. LOS are starting to get their footing with close matches against DZ and Soniqs. SSG might be able to take the lead next week in their match against LOS.

Playday 3- March 21

  • Oxygen vs Wildcard: 7-3
  • M80 vs Soniqs: 8-6

Playday 4- March 22

  • Luminosity vs M80: 7-5
  • SSG vs Soniqs: 7-5
  • DarkZero vs LOS: 8-6
  • beastcoast vs Wildcard: 7-8
  • LOS vs Soniqs: 5-7

There were not many close games this week. Most matches ended in 8 to 11 rounds. Next week we should get some closer matches as CREST GAMING takes on Scarz and CAG faces IGZIST.

  • IGZIST vs CREST GAMING: 8-7

  • E36 vs CAG: 1-7
  • Father’s Back vs KINOTROPE: 2-7

FaZe stays undefeated at the end of week 2 with w7m working their way to meet them. Liquid is still struggling with no wins yet. Let’s hope next week in their matches against FURIA and KEYD they can give us the Liquid we know.

Virtus Pro scores their first win of the stage against a strong G2 while BDS seems unstoppable. FNATIC staying consistent and solidifying a middle 4 spot along with Wolves. Next week the top two teams of BDS and Secret play each to show who should be on top.
