I asked ChatGPT to Write Me the First Page of a ‘Cocaine Bear’ Sequel; Here’s What it Gave Me.

If you’ve followed the mainstream media in any form, you’ve probably heard of the amazing new AI program ChatGPT. ChatGPT is a state-of-the-art language model created by OpenAI. As a large language model, ChatGPT has the ability to understand and generate human-like language, making it a powerful tool for a wide range of applications.

Since its release in 2020, ChatGPT has quickly become one of the most widely used language models in the world, with its capabilities being leveraged by companies, researchers, and individuals across a variety of industries and fields. In fact, ChatGPT actually wrote the introduction to this blog, which is pretty impressive in itself.

I went to ChatGPT and asked it to write the first page of a sequel to Cocaine Bear, the film that just released from director Elizabeth Banks and starring Ray Liotta, Keri Russel and O’Shea Jackson Jr. Read below to see what it ChatGPT thinks a sequel would look like, and follow us on social media and keep updated on our website for more!

FADE IN:

EXT. KENTUCKY WOODS – DAY

We see a lush forest landscape in Kentucky, with a river running through it. Birds are chirping, and the sun is shining.

Suddenly, we hear a loud crash, and a bear (COCAINE BEAR) falls out of the sky, landing in the river with a splash. We hear the sound of cocaine packets falling out of its backpack.

CUT TO:

EXT. KENTUCKY RIVERBANK – DAY

Two young hikers, KATIE and TYLER, are exploring the woods. They hear the splash and run over to see what happened.

TYLER

What the hell is that?

KATIE

It’s a bear. And…is that cocaine?

TYLER

Someone’s in trouble.

CUT TO:

INT. LOCAL POLICE STATION – DAY

We see SHERIFF JIM (50s) sitting at his desk, drinking coffee. He gets a call on his radio.

DISPATCHER (V.O.)

Sheriff, we have a report of a bear in the river. And there’s cocaine all over the place.

Sheriff Jim sets down his coffee and heads out the door.

CUT TO:

EXT. KENTUCKY WOODS – DAY

Sheriff Jim arrives on the scene, and we see a group of police officers and animal control personnel. They’re all looking at the bear in disbelief.

SHERIFF JIM

(to the group)

Alright, people. Let’s figure out how we’re gonna get this thing out of the river.

CUT TO:

INT. KATIE’S APARTMENT – DAY

Katie and Tyler are watching the news on TV, with the headline “Cocaine Bear Found in Kentucky Woods.”

TYLER

Can you believe that?

KATIE

No. And we were right there when it happened.

TYLER

We should go check it out.

KATIE

Are you crazy? We could get arrested.

TYLER

But think of the story we could tell.

Katie looks at Tyler, considering the idea.

FADE OUT.

I have been watching movies my whole life and fell in love at an early age. I was entranced by the ability for a film to whisk me away to a different universe, and that really started with the Star Wars Franchise. I'm by no means an expert and can roll with opinions that might be controversial, but that's the beauty of a film; we can all see the same thing on screen, but each of us may come away with a different interpretation of what we saw. When I'm not watching movies, I work in Marketing with my degree from Western New England University.
